Why should I use a Migration Agent when I can process the visa myself?
There is nothing to stop you applying directly to the Department of Immigration Australia (DIMA) yourself and indeed, many people do so very successfully.
One of the misconceptions is that DIMA is there to help you get into Australia – they are employed by the Australian Government to control immigration , so they are working on behalf of the Government, not you.
This is why many people simply prefer to use a registered MARA agent who can guide them through the Visa process and ensure that their application has been completed correctly, saving you time and stress.
